Correcting vs Healing
In any interpersonal space, especially between parents and children, we tend to correct, rather than heal. The whole energy of "correction" creates a reaction of rebelling, of non-acceptance.Needless to add, the objective of the exercise remains unfulfilled. We wonder at it and throw up our hands in exasperation.
When we do something, let us watch our inner dialogue - is it to prove a point that we are right or is it to genuinely help the other out of concern?
This observation can lead to some interesting discoveries , especially in our intimate relationship spaces.
It is the inner intent, the inner energy space which energizes the manifests of our actions, not the conscious mind states.
And the results of our endeavors can teach us a thing or two!!!
